Our name is a compass
350 refers to 350 parts per million — the maximum level of carbon (CO2) in the atmosphere safe for people and the planet. Every fraction of carbon pollution we add makes the climate crisis worse. We are currently at 432 ppm, and are working to drive this number back down. Our name is a daily reminder of what's at stake, and why this is the fight of our lives.
