Today a truly nasty hurricane, Ida, blew through the tiny country, leaving more than a hundred dead, and many still missing in mudslides triggered by massive rains, in some places measuring more than 15 inches. The country’s president said today:  "the damage sustained by our country is incalculable". Ida is now in the Gulf of Mexico, and may make landfall in the United States later this week.
