Karachi, Pakistan

One of the things that keeps striking us as pictures continue to pour in is how many come from places where there’s huge daily trouble to cope with: Iraq, Afghanistan, Honduras, or in this case Pakistan, where we’ve all watched with sadness the recent spate of bombings. But it doesn’t stop people from caring about other issues too–maybe, in fact, it makes hopes for the future more intense.
